Applied Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing: Predicting the current and future distribution of malaria hazard using the ecological niche models. Farai Madzimure
Abstract:
The main objective of this study was to map the current as well as future distribution of malaria hazard areas in the SADC countries using the ecological niche models. To achieve this, the current malaria hazard areas were modelled using the ecological niche models. The ecological niche models were used to predict the current distribution of anopheles gambiae as a function of current records of mean annual temperature and precipitation.

Using spectral vegetation index (NDVI) to classify the rangeland in terms of vegetation cover and wildlife habitat suitability. Farai Madzimure
Abstract:
In this study, rangeland condition was assessed by mapping vegetation productivity in the area of Hwange, Zimbabwe. The study also assessed the suitability of the rangeland to wildlife habitat. To determine rangeland condition, the Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) image of Hwange 31 May 2011 was used to calculate Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI).

Purified Compound 4,8-Dihydroxybenzo(De)Chromen-2(4h)-One From Caesalpinia Coriaria (Jacq) Willd - Induced Caspases Activity Related To Apoptosis In A-549 Cells. D.Anandhi and K.Revathi
Abstract:
In order to assess the mechanism of bioactive compound 4,8-dihydroxybenzo(de)chromen-2(4H)-one induced apoptosis, we have evaluated the caspase activity. The activation of the caspases (cysteine aspartic-specific proteases) is the classical investigation for the mechanism of apoptosis. Caspases are classified into upstream regulatory caspases and downstream effector caspases.

Optimization of Biodegradation of Anthracene by Corynebacterium sp and Pseudomonas putida. AzeezTaofik Oladimeji, Owabor Chiedu Ngozi, Nwakaudu Madueke Stanley and Usondu Nnamuzie Francis
Abstract:
The carcinogenic potential of industrial effluent discharged of anthracene on the ambient environment withcontamination to soils and aquifers is not only environmental concern but difficulty in implementation of biodegradation of anthracene due to inability to optimizing the process parameters. The optimization of process parameters for biodegradation of anthracene with the activity of Corynebacterium sp and Pseudomonas putida using response surface methodology was aimed to be investigated.

A Review on Pharmacological activities of some Mannich Bases. M.R. Abdullahi, I.A Bala, A.I. Darma and A.T. Adamu
Abstract:
The classical Mannich reactionis a three-component condensation between compounds containing an active hydrogen atom, aldehyde and amine. The reaction involves the elimination of water molecule and leads to the formation of compounds called Mannich bases as illustrated in the following scheme(Babu. K and Pitchai. P2014).

A Review On Manet: Attacks On It & Need Of Security. Ashish Aggarwal, Anshu Chauhan and Ms. Shabnam SangwanZvisinei
Abstract:
A Mobile Ad hoc (MANETs) is a Dynamic protocol wireless network that can be created without any pre-existing infrastructure in which each node can operate as a router. In MANET's there will be no centralized authority to manage the network. Nodes have to rely on other nodes to keep the network connected.

Sustainable Development of Building Integrated Photovoltaic Facade Technology. MS T.N Brinda and E.Prasanna
Abstract:
A sustainable technology that provides the opportunity for generating electricity and replacing conventional construction materials is building integrated photovoltaic (BIPVs). Building construction and usage consume one third of the primary electricity in India. BIPV systems generate electricity by converting solar energy into useable power to supply building electrical loads.

Evaluation of concentration of a few Heavy metals in the catchment area of Upper Lake, Bhopal. Ranjana Talwar, Avinash Bajpai and Suman Malik
Abstract:
In modern economies, various types of activity, including agriculture, industry and transportation, produce a large amount of wastes and new type of pollutants. Soil, air and water have traditionally been used as sites for disposal of all these wastes. Concerns for environmental quality in nutrient management context arise mainly from pollution of ground water, eutrophication of surface water bodies, emission of green house gases and heavy metal entry into the food chain and consequently affecting human and animal health.

Multi Elemental Analysis of mineral soil "Ewoa" used for cooking, cloth washing, etc. in Gurage Zone, Shamene, Ethiopia. T. Tessema Teklemariam, A.K. Chaubey, W. Tsegaye Birhanu, Y.A. Ahmed and M.O.A.Oladipo
Abstract:
In Ethiopia, large percentages of the populations are engaged in farming and cattle production. Mineral soils and plants play a vital role in this population to fatten the cattle. The minerals and mineral water were mostly being used as a medicine for the cattle. Particularly in the region called Gurage Zone, Shamene-Agena farmers use a mineral soil called "Ewoa" as a mechanism to keep the flesh that can be produced from the cattle be better quality and produce qualified Milk and Milk products like butter and cheese.

A review on Time Series Representation. Kalyani S. Hatwar and Prof. Sagar S. Badhiye
Abstract:
Time series representation is one of key issues in time series data mining. Time series is simply a sequence of number collected at regular interval over a period of time and obtained from scientific and financial applications. The nature of time series data shows characteristics like large data size, high dimensional and necessity to update continuously.

A Neural Networks Approach for Investment Strategy using Data Mining. Hassab Elrasul Y. AL Toum and Mahmoud A. Zaher
Abstract:
In this paper, we present a new investment strategy for optimal gains on investments in the stock market. Neural Network (NN)-based framework is used for trading prediction and forecasting. To this end, statistical measures based on return and volatility are used to filter out low performing sectors in the stock market. A simple but effective method based on price Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) is used to measure volatility for a given stock.

Abstract:
Bio-mediated soil improvement is an interdisciplinary field collaborated with microbiology, geochemistry and civil engineering for ground improvement. This process is technically termed as microbially induced calcite precipitation. Naturally most of the microbes involved in mineral precipitation especially carbonates. This is the work on calcium carbonate precipitation by yeast and applied on cement concrete to observe the strength enhancement point of view.
