Factors determining community participation in water projects were investigated. Data was collected from 126 respondents who were selected from a sample population of 4,683 households using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a household questionnaire survey, focus group discussions and key informant interviews.

Abstract:
The physical properties of the glasses are having influence not only in the fundamental process but also in its application. In our study, we have studied the physical properties of three different compositions of CuO doped Na2O- B2O3 glasses such as C0: 40.0 Na2O - 60.0 B2O3 (Pure), C1: 39.9 Na2O - 60.0 B2O3 - 0.1 CuO and C2: 39.8 Na2O - 60.0 B2O3 - 0.2 CuO (all in mol %) using optical absorption in the region 300 to 1600 nm and infrared spectra in the region 400 to 2000 cm –1.
