MAINTENANCE OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLETHROUGH PRACTISING OF YOGA, EXERCISE AND DIETARY INTERVENTIONS
Sangeeta Puri
Abstract:
A Health is a resource for everyday life, not the object of living, and is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal recourses as well as physical capabilities. Health is a fundamental human right, essential for personal development and an essential component of development, vital to a nation`s economic growth and internal stability (WHO, 2010). The concept of health and healthy lifestyle here does not only imply mere absence of disease or infirmity by a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing. According to Physical activity guidelines for Americans (2008) and WHO (2010), it is a concept emphasizing the eight aspects of wellbeing into one ́s life namely : emotional; environmental; financial; intellectual; occupational; physical; social; and spiritual. Physical activity is one of the most basic human functions and needs which has benefits across the lifespan and according to Gordon Larsen et al (2007) there is strong evidence that children and adolescents benefit from physical activity through improved: cardio respiratory and muscular fitness, bone health, cardiovascular and metabolic health biomarkers; and there is a growing body of evidence that inactive children are more likely to become inactive adults. Hence, there is importance of introducing physical activity at an early age.(Janssen& Leblanc, 2010). Play and recreation are essential in learning motor and social skills and in the development of creativity (Gleave & Cole Hamilton, 2012). The more peaceful the mind, the more the enjoyment. We eat well, sleep well, smile more, make the best of every moment, get quality time on our hands and always look good even in just simple plain outfits. In fact, clothes start looking good because we wear them, rather than the other way around. Our body requires a well balanced diet every day in order to maintain the adequate amounts of vitamins, nutrients and minerals for a healthy body. Healthy habits leads to healthy lifestyle such as eating well, exercising, and avoiding harmful substances. It benefits your physical, mental, and emotional health ultimately results in healthy lifestyle. There are some important factors which are key drivers for healthy style like check the calorie count, focus on variety in the food, eating habits, smart cooking, knowledge about fats and carbohydrates etc. The purpose of the paper is to describe the impact of physical activity, exercise and healthy eating habit on the youth’s psychological, mental and social well-being. The right nutrition is necessary to live a healthy lifestyle.

Environmental Management in India in Global Perspectives
(With Special Reference to Haryana)
Dr. Sarita Rana
Abstract:
The 21st century is the age of Environment. The adoption of new climate agreement
at the 21st Conference of Paris (COP21) under the United Nations Framework Convention
on Climate Change (UNFCCC) by 195 countries in December, 2015 is the latest milestone
in this direction. The Millennium Development Goals (MDG) for 2000 to 2015 were
replaced by the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) comprising a set of 17 goals
and 169 targets in the Paris Agreement for the next fifteen years. Therefore, the SDGs are
effective from January, 2016 and will end in December, 2030. The important pillars of the
agreement are mitigation, adaptation, finance, technology development and transfer,
capacity building and transparency of action and support. The Agreement invited parties to
submit their first nationally determined contributions prior to the submission of their
instruments of ratification and accession. The agreement and consensus of different
countries from the world to a common framework on climate change and a set of targets of
SDGs is indeed a monumental achievement. The year of 2015 has remained the warmest
year as per the World Meteorological Organization. In one another report of International
Energy Agency (IEA) in 2015, during the year of 2014, the concentration of CO2 had
increased 40 per cent higher than in the mid-1800s. In order to initiate the process of self
evaluation, one must know where our country and state stands in the global world keeping
in view some pertinent Environmental indicators of development so that Intended
Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) may be determined.

History of English Literature
Jaipal Sharma
Abstract:
English literature refers to the study of texts around the world, written in English
language. Generally, English literature refers to a wide variety of lessons, including novels,
non-fiction, poetry and drama, among other forms of literature. However, literature is a
contested term, as new mediums of communication provide a variety of contemporary
literature. The old English literature includes literature written in old English in AngloSaxon England during the period of the Norman Conquest from the 7th century to 1066.
These works include epic, poetry, hagiography, sermons, Bible translations, legal works,
chronicles, puzzles and more. This study tries to trace the history of English literature.

Reflection of Historical and Social Evolution in the Oral Literature of the Moran
Community
JIBAMONI NATH
Abstract:
There is evidence that the Marans, one of the oldest peoples of Assam, settled
permanently in the Saumarkhand (a division of ancient Assam) region during the
Ahom period. There is little mention of this in the chronicles of the Ahom era. As a
very ancient community, the Morans are very fond of Folk culture. Extremely
religious, obsessive-compulsive disorder, to some extent educational and social
backwardness is one of the reasons for the cultural identity of the Moran people.
This research paper seeks to discuss how the social and historical evolution of the
population is preserved in oral hymns.
