Abstract: Powder Mixed Electric Discharge Machining is capable of machining geometrically complex shapes and hard material components that are difficult to machine such as ceramics, carbides, heat treated tool steels, composites, super alloys, heat resistant steels etc. These hard material components are widely used in tool, die and mold making industries, automotive, aeronautics, nuclear industries and construction industries. For any manufacturing and fabrication process, particularly related to Electric Discharge Machining process the correct selection of machining parameters is one of the most important aspects to be considered. This experimental work investigates the effect of dielectric fluid on the material removal rate. Further, the machining parameters like pulse on time, current and pulse off time are also investigated to improve the material removal rate. The experiment has been conducted on high speed steel work piece using square shaped copper electrode having cross-section 8mm×8mm. For this experimental work, kerosene oil and copper powder mixed kerosene oil are used as a dielectric medium. The layout of design of experiment is based on Taguchi L9 orthogonal array and the analysis of variance is used to analyze the results and to determine the most significance machining parameter. From the results obtained, it is concluded that copper powder mixed kerosene oil as a dielectric fluid provides more material removal rate as compared to the simple kerosene oil. From the main effect plots, it is found that pulse on time and current are the most influencing parameters for material removal rate and pulse off time has the least effect. As the pulse on time and current increases, the material removal rate also increases (i.e. material removal rate varies directly with pulse on time and current). The optimal values of machining parameters like pulse on time, current and pulse off time are 150 µs, 12 Amp and 10 µs respectively Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Self compacting concrete (SCC) is defined as a flowable concrete highly applicable fr congested reinforced structural elements and high durablity. SCC requires high finer particles to attain liquid flow without any external pressure application. Natural river sand consumption is highly increasing due to rapid growth of construction industry and creating several environmental issues and as alternate to natural sand manufactured sand (MSand) is being used as fine aggregate. This research is mainly concentrated on gradation of fine aggregate to get required durability by examine the effect of different fineness modulus (FM) of MSand (2.5, 2.7 and 2.9) on the durability characterstics of SCC with blending of binding materials as SCC_25FA_10SF; SCC_25FA_10SF and SCC_25FA_5SF_5MK. The test methods adopted to evaluate the durability charcters are water absorption and rapid chloride permeability test after curing periods of 28, 56 and 112 days. Results showed that the durability charcterstic values of SCC with FM value of 2.7 aquired better results than other FM values. Hence, it is concluded that proper gradation of finer and coarser fractions of MSand has to be maintained to attain desired durability charcterstics in SCC at hardened state. Abstract: This paper discusses the effect of simultaneously increase in step - number (k) and order of derivative (l) on the accuracy of an implicit multiderivative method. The study varied k and l simultaneously from 1- 4 to produce some variants of the method. These variants were implemented by using them to solve two initial value problems of first order ordinary differential equations. A comparative study of the computed results was carried out which showed an improvement in accuracy as k and l increased from k=1; l =1 to k=2; l =2 but accuracy reduced from k=3; l =3 to k=4; l =4, suggesting that two step second derivative scheme (k=2; l=2) has optimal accuracy when k and l were increased simultaneously. Abstract: The construction boom in India is developing at a fast rate of growth. It provides wide opportunity in India for a new entrant in prefab sector. At present precast concrete buildings are the advanced construction techniques available over worldwide. Being its wide applicability, the total precast concrete buildings systems are becoming a popular choice for many construction. Precast concrete available in many shape, sizes, including structural elements and unreinforced pieces. The prefab industry is the backbone for the development of new ideas in construction business of any country; Factory buildings, residential buildings and the industrial township are needed practically by all the sectors, either to support the manufacturing or services of any industry. Prefabrication is the practice of assembling components of a structure in a factory or other manufacturing site, and transporting complete assemblies or sub-assemblies to the construction site where the structure is to be located. A modular structure however, is not a mobile structure; it is simply a structure that is built off-site as opposed to on-site. These structures are often called factory-built structures, system-built or pre-fab. structures. Modular and manufactured structures however, are not the same. Manufactured buildings are not placed on permanent foundations. Manufactured homes, sometimes referred to as mobile homes can be moved from one location to another. Prefabrication has been used extensively and widely for many years around the world. Pre-assembly, prefabrication, modularization, system building and industrialized buildings are the terms which have been frequently used to describe that the manufacture of building components are constructed either on-site or off-site in a factory covering manufactured, modular and pre-cut or pre-engineered systems. Although the terms, are often interchangeably used, their precise definitions depend heavily on the users’ experience and understanding, which vary from country to country Prefabrication is preferred with special emphasis on the building components are made off-site in a factory. Off-site fabrication is a topic of international interest and provides an effective construction technique in term s of quality, time, cost, function, productivity and safety. It is adopted worldwide as the ideal means of producing an immense array of elements from structural members, cladding units, and bathrooms to fully-finished modular buildings. Architects are incorporating modern designs into the prefabricated houses of today. Prefab housing should no longer be compared to a mobile home in terms of appearance, but to that of a complex modernist design. There has also been an increase in the use of "green" materials in the construction of these prefab houses. Consumers can easily select between different environmentally friendly finishes and wall systems. Since these homes are built in parts, it is easy for a home owner to add additional rooms or even solar panels to the roofs. The main objective of this paper is to Investigate the current level of utilization of prefabrication technology in the building sector of the construction industry, examine the advantages and disadvantages of prefabrication technology in the building industry examine the advantages and challenges of conventional building practices in the current industry and formulate construction techniques that will integrate prefabrication in the current conventional building practices. Abstract: Enzymes present in biological system of both chemical process and of nuclear one transmute minerals into other minerals at normal environment of temperature and pressure without creation of any radioactive emission and materials. In the present study green gram seeds were used for the germination. The study contains four types of samples, control, soaked and germinated of each of 4 gm and radicals of 16 gm of randomly selected seeds. Seeds of germinated samples were soaked in distilled water for 16 hours and then germinated for two days and conducted elemental analysis with the instrument ICP-OES of Perkin Elmer and had shown that germinated seeds increased its chemical composition of K and decreased in Na. Radicals of germinated seeds increased its chemical composition of Na, Mg, Al, P, K, Fe and Zn and decreased in Ca. Here enzymes could have facilitated biological cold fusion that resulted in changes in the chemical composition of germinated seeds and radicals in the germinated seeds using the weak nuclear force called neutral currents. These types of research are important in the fields of medicine, science, agriculture, health and deactivation of radioactive wastes. Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Quality control is one of the basic issues in textile industry. Texture analysis plays an important role in automated visual inspection of texture images to detect their defects. The investment in an automated fabric defect detection system is more than economical when reduction in labor cost and associates benefits are considered. The inspection of real fabric defects is particularly challenging due to the large number of fabric defect classes, which are characterized by their vagueness and ambiguity. Many fabric defects are very small, which makes them very difficult to detect by only monitoring intensity change. Faultless fabric is a repetitive and regular global texture and Fourier transform can be applied to monitor the spatial frequency spectrum of the fabric. When the defect occurs in the fabric, its regular structure is changed so that the corresponding intensity at some specific positions of the frequency spectrum would change. In this paper, a simulated fabric model is used to understand the relationship between the fabric structure in the image space and in the frequency space. Based on the three dimensional frequency spectrums, two significant spectrum diagrams are defined and used for analyzing the fabric defect. These two diagrams are called the central spatial frequency spectrums. The defects are broadly classified into 3 classes. Double yarn, missing yarn and web or broken fabric. After evaluating these 3 classes of defects using some simulated models and real samples, seven characteristics parameters for central spatial frequency are computed Download full Lenght Paper...... |

How- ever, as late episodes have illustrated, confide in these powers is not well set. Progressively, endorsement powers (by pressure or trade off) have been making manufactured endorsements for a scope of foes, permitting apparently secure interchanges to be captured by means of man-in-the-center (MITM) assaults. An assortment of arrangements has been proposed, however their many-sided quality and organization costs have prevented their reception. In this paper, we propose Direct Validation of Certificates (DVCert), a novel convention that, rather than depending on outsiders for testament approval, permits spaces to straightforwardly and safely vouch for their declarations utilizing already settled client validation qualifications. By depending on a hearty cryptographic development, this generally basic method for en- hancing server personality approval is not just proficient and similarly simple to send, yet it likewise comprehends different constraints of outsider arrangements. Our broad exploratory examination in both desktop and versatile stages demonstrates that DVCert exchanges require little calculation time on the server (e.g., under 1 ms) also, are probably not going to corrupt server execution or client encounter. Abstract: Nowadays, the use of cement in the construction industry has been increased day by day which causes damage to the environment as the cement industry emits maximum amount of carbon dioxide. To reduce environmental pollution and save natural resources, it is essential to preserve it for our future generations. In order to solve the above problem, wastepaper sludge ash and Quartz is used as an alternative for cement and sand. In the proposed work, cement is replaced by 5, 10, 15 and 20% percent by wastepaper sludge ash and the percentage on which optimum strength obtained i.e. 5% replacement is kept constant and natural sand is replaced by Quartz, varying the percentage by 25, 50 and 75%. The compressive strength of concrete is tested by using compressive testing machine and rebound hammer. Research done showed that Waste Paper Sludge Ash can be used as cement replacement up to 5% by weight. Maximum Compressive strength of cubes with 5% WSA and 50% QS is observed to be 44 MPa. Abstract: Electrical discharge machining is a non conventional process of machining very hard material such as titanium alloys, heat treated tool steels, super alloys, composites, ceramics, heat resistant steels, tungsten carbides etc. These materials are precise and very difficult to machine with conventional way of machining processes like milling, drilling etc. These hard materials are widely used in modern industries (die and mold making industries, medical, aerospace, aeronautics and nuclear industries). Electric discharge machining is a thermal based machining process in which machining is done with the repeatedly reoccurring electric sparks occurs between the tool and work piece. Both the tool and work piece are immersed in dielectric fluid. This study discusses the influence of machining parameters like current, voltage, pulse on time and pulse off time on the performance parameters such as material removal rate and tool wear rate. These selected machining parameters are varied up to their four levels. The other machining parameters such as duty cycle, polarity, spark gap are kept constant. Since mild steel is an electric conductive material and found applications in various industries for making desirable products, so in this experiment mild steel is used as a work piece material and machining is done with copper electrode having 10 mm in diameter. The layout of design of experiment is based on Taguchi L16 orthogonal array and analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to investigate the results obtained from Taguchi. From results it is concluded that out of four selected machining parameters, current and pulse on time are the most influencing parameter for material removal rate and the other two parameters i.e. voltage and pulse off time have not much effect on performance. As the current and pulse on time increases, the material removal rate also increases. From the response tables for means and S/N ratio for material removal rate , it is found that current is the most impacting parameter followed by pulse on time, voltage and pulse off time Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Electrical discharge machining (EDM), is a thermal based machining process whereby a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges. In this process Material is removed from the workpiece by a series of rapidly recurring current discharges between two electrodes, separated by a dielectric liquid and subject to an electric voltage. One of the electrodes is called the tool-electrode, or simply the "tool" or "electrode," while the other is called the workpiece-electrode, or "workpiece." The process depends upon the tool and workpiece not making actual contact. When the voltage between the two electrodes is increased, the intensity of the electric field in the volume between the electrodes becomes greater than the strength of the dielectric (at least in some places), which breaks down, allowing current to flow between the two electrodes. As a result, material is removed from the electrodes. Once the current stops (or is stopped, depending on the type of generator), new liquid dielectric is usually conveyed into the inter-electrode volume, enabling the solid particles (debris) to be carried away and the insulating properties of the dielectric to be restored. In this study we will discuss the effect of different machining parameters like voltage, current, pulse on time, pulse off time on the response parameters mainly on tool wear rate. the study will be made with four different values of input parameters. The other parameters such as duty cycle, polarity, spark gap are kept constant. In this experiment mild steel is selected as work piece and copper rod with 10mm diameter is taken as tool electrode. The layout of design of experiment is based on Taguchi L16 orthogonal array and analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used to investigate the results obtained from Taguchi. From the result it is found that the tool wear rate is directly proportional to the current and pulse on time. As the range of current and pulse on time increases, the tool wear rate also increases. This is due to that as the current and pulse on time increases, the heat energy also increase which further results of more metal to be melt from work piece and tool. For the response parameter i.e. tool wear rate, the voltage and pulse off time have not much effect Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Curative plants are also called „Medicinal Herbs‟ have been discovered and used in traditional medicine practices since prehistoric times. Plants synthesis hundreds of chemical compounds for functions including defense against insects, fungi, diseases and herbivorous mammals. Numerous phytochemicals with potential biological activity have been identified. However, since a single plant contains widely diverse phytochemicals, the effects of using a whole plant as medicine are uncertain. Further, the phytochemical content and pharmacological actions, if any, of many plants having medicinal potential remain unassessed by rigorous scientific research to define efficacy and safety. Medicinal plants are widely used in non-industrialized societies mainly because they are readily available and cheaper than modern medicines. Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Recent years have seen no radical changes in predicting fly ash resistivity from Indian perspective. There have been no significant advances in developing new techniques in the field of fly ash resistivity for low sulphur coals which becomes a basic parameter to design an( ESP). However, arise from time to time which depress performance; a particular example is that due to high resistivity dust which has tended to become more troublesome in Indian power stations, especially with low sulphur coals. Practical solutions to such problems are being vigorously sought. Download full Lenght Paper...... |

Abstract: Cooperation is a significant versatile procedure for adapting to testing life history stages. Transient gathering can give endurance benefits during dangerous or weak periods. Less every now and again, long haul partnerships might emerge when advantages of participation offset inborn direct wellness expenses of shared generation. For eusocial gatherings, with respect to individual organic entities, early development and improvement addresses an especially troublesome life history stage, since youthful provinces are profoundly powerless against predation, mortality gambles, and the impacts of rivalry. All the while, beginning states should facilitate major authoritative changes that help fast development. Understanding circumstances during this difficult ontogenetic period might give experiences into the social benefits hidden participation among settlement foundresses. Abstract: Solar energy is considered to be one of the green energies that plays an important role in reducing green house gases thereby reducing carbon footprint as it’s main output is electrical energy from incidence of sun’s light energy. To make it more greener thermal energy from Solar energy are being tapped. To make cost effective, combined production of electrical and thermal energy is possible by circulating air or water, as heat removing fluid around the panel. By doing so, the performance and lifetime of PV Panels can be undoubtedly increased. More and more theoretical, numerical, and experimental studies are undertaken in this area. This energy conservation measure led to the evolution of photovoltaic thermal (PVT) hybrid system [1]. The unwanted heat from PV panel is usually recovered from their rear side by maintaining air flow orwater flow, and could be used for heating air or water respectively. Based on the heat extraction medium like air and water, PVT technology can be broadly grouped as PVT air (PVTa) technology and PVT water (PVTw) technology. Recent PVT systems [2, 3] incorporate novel heat extraction techniques with high thermal conductivity nanofluids, latent heat of fusion with the use of phase change materials (PCM), latent heat of evaporation in heat pipes and semiconductor based thermo-electric modules.
