Study of Thin-Film Si/Ge Superlattice Thermoelectric Materials. Purushottam Poddar
Abstract:
Superlattices consist of alternating solid thin layers of different materials stacked periodically. The lattice mismatch and electronic potential differences at the interfaces and resulting phonon and electron interface scattering and band structure modifications can be exploited to reduce phonon heat conduction while maintaining or enhancing the electron transport.

Studies on CdSe0.2Te0.8 thin film/(aq) Polysulphide junction photoelectrochemical solar cells
Laxmikant P. Damodare
Abstract:
Thin films of CdSe0.2Te0.8 were deposited by vacuum evaporation on highly conducted precoated In2O3 glass plates at 300 K at a pressure of 6 ×〖10〗^(-6) torr. The as-grown thin films showed response with (aq) polysulphide electrolyte, (aq) 1 MNaOH + 1 M Na2S + 1 M S (pH = 12.6) when the junction wasilluminated by white light under AM 1.5illumination condition. The solar power conversion efficiency of the photoelectrochemical (PEC) solar cell was found to be 0.95% . The Mott-Schottky plots in dark showed the flat band potential to be ≈ -1.26 eVvs SCE.
