Abstract:
A study was carried out to screen the wood rot fungal isolates and quantify their ligninolytic enzymes. Fifty six fungal isolates obtained from natural and plantation forests of Arsi forest enterprise were screened for the presence of ligninolytic enzymes and then MnP and LiP enzymes of eleven isolates were quantified.

Abstract:
Tm+3 and Tb+ doped LaVO4 :Eu nano-crystal materials were synthesized using chemical co-precipitation method in water medium. The materials were annealed at 600 C for 3 hours and then grained into powder form. The materials were characterized by recording XRD and TEM images. The materials showed monoclinic and tetragonal structures and their estimated crystallite sizes were in the range 30-40 nm.
