BEHAVIOUR OF OPTIMAL RESERVE INVENTORY BETWEEN TWO MACHINES IN SERIES BASED ON THE REPAIR TIME DISTRIBUTION
C.Selvamurugan, S.Sachithanantham and V.Ganesan
Abstract:
Determining the optimal reserve inventory between machines in series is a special
type of inventory problem in the inventory control theory. The models for optimal reserve
inventory between two machines have been discussed by many researchers with the
assumption that the repair time of M1 undergoes parameteric change and change of
distribution properties. In this paper, a study on the behaviour of optimal reserve
inventory between two machines in series is discussed. Especially the behaviour of
optimal reserve inventory is analysed for the changes in the holding costs and ideal time
costs, whenever the repair time of machine M1 undergoes the Setting Clock Back to Zero
and Change of distribution property. Also the optimal reserve inventory values are
compared under the above two said properties.

ZERO-WAITING TIME TO CONCEPTION IN HUMAN REPRODUCTION: FAILURE OF SURVIVAL MODELS AND DETERMINANTS BY LOGISTIC REGRESSION MODELS
N. Sharat Singh
Abstract:
Some mothers have no menses between two consecutive
live births leading to the duration of waiting time to
conception to be zero resulting into the fecundability
cannot be estimated with survival models. The
phenomenon had first ever been termed as „zero-waiting
time to conception‟ in 2010. In this study, it was to
explore the determinants of zero-waiting time to
conception of women in the tribal dominated populations
in Manipur, the internationally border with Myanmar. A
cross-sectional community base study was conducted
during July, 2014 to June, 2015 taking 1278 eligible
mothers who were having at least two live births under
cluster sampling technique. Some important independent
variables of the phenomenon could be detected by using
binary logistic regressions. With a prevalence rate of 32
per thousand, some of the determinants were observed to
be age at marriage, age at delivery, and parity each at
P<0.01 and tribal/ non-tribal differential and infant
mortality (P<0.05). The findings might be baseline
information for future researchers in maternal and child
health development in India particularly in North East
India.

ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITIES AND SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES OF Co(II)
AND Zn(II) MIXED LIGAND COMPLEXES DERIVED FROM
ISONICOTINYLHYDRAZIDE AND VANILLIN WITH NITROGEN, SULPHUR
AND OXYGEN MONODENDATE LIGANDS
Grace. E. Iniama, Isaac T. Iorkpiligh
Abstract:
The ligand, isonicotinylhydrazone-4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (ISVN) was
synthesized by the condensation reaction between isonicotinylhydrazide and 4-hydroxy-3-
methoxybenzaldehyde (vanillin) at room temperature. The synthesized ligand was used to
prepare the mixed ligand complexes of Co(II) and Zn(II) with aniline, furan and thiophene
as secondary ligands.

SPLIT DOMINATION IN FUZZY PLANAR GRAPH
K. Priya, S. Manonmani
Abstract:
Fuzzy graph is now a very important research area due to
its wide application. Fuzzy Planar Graph is an important
subclass of fuzzy graph. The split domination number of
𝐺 is the minimum fuzzy cardinality of a split dominating
set. In this paper, we introduced a new concept of "Split
Domination in Fuzzy Planar Graph". It is combination of
spilt domination and fuzzy planar graph. Here, we
studied the relation between a split domination number
and value of planarity. We derived some results by using
minimal domination set

EFFECTS OF NEEM (AZADIRACHTA INDICA) SEED KERNELS
EXTRACTONTRIBOLIUM CASTANEUM (Herbst) AN ANALYSIS.
Sanjeev Kumar Sharma
Abstract:
This article focuses on the effect of Neem (Azadirachtaindica) Seed Kernel Extract on Tribolium
castaneum. The insecticidal effect of neem has been demonstrated in various groups of harmful
insects, have indicated as miraculous tree, dispensary of multifunctional crops and living
pharmacies due to its multiple use.Neem is one of the botanical pesticides in general use and
used in organic farming. Around the world today is widely used as an independent treatment or
together with synthetic pesticides or entomopathogenic. The extract of neem is a powerful
repellent, antifeedant, regulator of growth and dissuasion of the oviposition that affects more
than 200 species of parasites. Almost all parts of the neem plant, namely, seeds, leaves, roots,
bark, trunk and branches have been recognized for their medicinal and insecticidal properties.
The most important component identified was the tetranortriterpenoids (limonoids) Azadiractina.
Unlike most current insecticides available on the market, seed extracts appear to be non-toxic to
humans and animals and are essentially non-phytotoxic.Many scientists have demonstrated the
usefulness of neem and other plant products for the management of diseases and crop pests. At
the moment, it is possible to see how neem trees grow successfully in 72 countries around the
world in Asia, Africa, Australia, North, South and Central America.

Rainwater Harvesting Potential of NIIT region of Greater Noida using GIS
Mohd Waseem, Mohammad Saleem
Abstract:
A global problem is water shortage for commercial and industrial usage and even for drinking
purposes. The depletion of resources, decimated ecosystem, dwindling of wells, saltwater
intrusion and land subsidence has resulted due to the extraction of excessive withdrawal of
groundwater. The current decline in the availability of groundwater in India requires the
formulation of a sustainable groundwater management plan by properly evaluating the available
resources. One of the solutions to solve the groundwater issue is rainwater harvesting for
groundwater recharge. Rainwater harvesting is a technique of harvesting, collection and storage
of rainwater and aims at conserving, storing and utilizing every drop of rainwater for various
users and recharging groundwater reservoirs. The present paper proposes a GIS approach to
assess the total area of available catchments for rainwater harvesting in NIIT region of Greater
Noida and evaluate the amount of water that may actually be harvested for groundwater sources
to be replenished. Google earth images are used for the digitization and georeferenced with the
help of ArcGIS. Rooftops, roads, vegetation and bare land are included in various types of
catchments. Finally, the catchment area is determined in order to determine the overall rainwater
harvesting potential of the study area.

A NOTE ON MILESTONES OF LABELING OF GRAPHS
Bipinkumar V
Abstract:
A graph labeling is a map that carries graph elements such as vertices or edges to numbers
(usually to the positive or non-negative integers). Some labeling use the vertex-set alone, or the
edge-set alone, and we shall call them vertex-labeling and edge-labeling respectively. Numerous
labeling techniques have been defined and a lot of surveys of labeling techniques have been carried
out so far. This paper is an attempt to depict a journey through some of the graph labeling
techniques which may be mentioned as milestones in the history of labeling and have become
inspiration for many other labeling techniques.
