Impact of Globalization of Agricultural Marketing in Rural India
Roop Raj
Abstract:
There are many ways by which globalization has been defined. People around the world are more linked to each other than ever before. Information and money flow more speedily. They provide a major share of total production and marketed surplus in most developing countries of the world. There is an urge for effective connectivity between rural produce and agricultural markets because food and energy insecurities are two foremost problems of the world. International travel is more common. International communication is simple and fast. This fact has been termed as globalization. The positive and negative affects of globalization and the groups that resist and support globalization are many Agriculture is different from industry and plays a significant role in the economic development of a nation. Corporate globalization has impacted the rural communities in several ways. This paper presents impacts globalization on small farms. Agricultural marketing involves series of steps including many cultural practices, operations and processes through which the basic agriculture based raw material such as food move from the cultivated farms to the final consumers whereas rural marketing differs only in terms of consumption ability of the consumers here. Goods and services produced in one part of the world are increasingly obtainable in all parts of the world.Rural marketing targets market customers living in the rural areas. Thus, rural marketing is basically based on marketing fundamentals such as concepts, principles, theories etc to in relation to rural marketers.

A Note on Analytic Mean Prime Labeling
Sunoj B S, Mathew Varkey T K
Abstract:
Analytic mean prime labeling of a graph is the labeling of the vertices with {0,1,2---,p-1} and the edges with mean of the absolute difference of the squares of the labels of the incident vertices if square difference is even or mean of the absolute difference of the squares of the labels of the incident vertices and one if square difference is odd. The greatest common incidence number of a vertex (gcin) of degree greater than one is defined as the greatest common divisor of the labels of the incident edges. If the gcin of each vertex of degree greater than one is one, then the graph admits analytic mean prime labeling. Here we investigate tortoise graph, umbrella graph, fan graph, triangular belt, and some cycle related graphs for analytic mean prime labeling.

Abstract:
The paper addresses the problem of disposing about 5 tonnes per day of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) waste generated by M/s Suzlon Energy Ltd ─ which is a company situated at Puducherry for manufacturing turbines and blades for wind-energy extraction. The waste being absolutely non-biodegradable, cannot be disposed in landfills and its incineration or open burning is a cause of serious air pollution. We have explored the use of this waste as an additive in brick-making and in cement manufacture. As demonstrated in the paper, both options are able to put the FRP waste into use. Further, both options help the cause of environmental protection directly as well as indirectly.

Meenakshi, Shweta Bathla
Abstract:
Demonetization, an economic term, means withdrawing a particular form of currency from circulation. Through demonetization the old currency is replaced by the new currency or a currency circulation is blocked. On 8 November, 2016 central government of India announced demonetization policy. This bold decision was taken to tackle many issues like inflation, corruption, parallel economy, counterfeit currency in circulation and terror funding. The term demonetization is not new to India. Indian government has demonetized the currency before, first time in 1946 and second time in 1978. This step is considered as the biggest cleanliness drive against the black money in the history of Indian economy. This step was taken by Indian government for the good of economy. In this research paper I want to discuss the impact of demonetization on terror funding. Demonetization does not directly affect terrorism but this will definitely have a check on terrorist activities as these activities are based on liquid cash transactions

Antifungal activity of plant extracts with potential to control plant pathogens
V.S. Nagpurne
Abstract:
Agriculture is a back bone of our country, Whole economy of India is related with agriculture so there is need to control the various fungal diseases. The fungi are major disease causing agents on plants and can lose up to 90% agricultural yield. Fungal pathogens are mainly damage of foodstuffs, grains during storage and standing crops in the field. Such plant products are unfit for human consumption by retarding their nutritive value and often by producing mycotoxins (Marin et. al. 1999; Janardhana et. al. 1998). A significant portion of the agriculture produce in the country and the world over become unfit for human consumption due to mycotoxins contamination of grains especially those produced by species of Aspergillus ( Janardhana et, al. 1999; Chandra and Sarbhoy, 1997; Devi et. al. 2001).
