Violent Conflicts of Microeconomics
Satish kumar
Abstract:
In our concise survey, we assess the emergence, in the most recent decade, of the "microeconomics of savage clash" as another subfield of observational improvement economics. We start by de-bunking normal misperceptions about the microeconomics of contention and distinguish a few commitments to economic theory and, specifically, to empirics, techniques and information. We additionally show how the subfield is enhanced through collaboration with researchers working in related disciplines. We anticipate that future work should contribute bury alia to the proof base on harmony building mediations, the improvement of post-struggle organizations, the conduct of firms in strife territories and the job of feelings in decision-making. We note a distinction between the quickly advancing scholarly subfield from one viewpoint and the moderately restricted utilization of information therefore produced by philanthropic and improvement associations and approach creators working in and on struggle influenced territories. We finish up by recommending that instructing in economics and the discipline-explicit JEL codes have not yet kept pace with this ongoing scholarly improvement.

Democracy: Present and Future in Bhutan
Dr. DHARMENDRA
Abstract:
Democracy has come a long way from the Greek ideas of Demos and Kratos and in fact
this journey in the tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan since 2008 seems to be one of a
regime initiated one. It holds all the trappings of being depicted as yet another model of
guided democracy, like the ones prevalent in Turkey (since Ataturk), in Pakistan under the
martial law administrators as well as under Pervez Musharraf, Indonesia (under Ahmed
Sukarno) and others where, democracy is and was looked upon as an institution under the
protection of the armed forces. And this incident made way to autocracy in those countries.
In Bhutan, the custodian appears to be the monarchy and the monarchs themselves. The
framers of the 2008 constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan makes every effort to insulate
their document from political quagmire by putting in place certain qualifications namely
like that candidates contesting the poll should be graduates only, making way for the
technocrats to run for the elected offices. For the present time this guided democracy
seems to continue without much of a problem but in the future it might give way to some
other form or perhaps political turmoil. Therefore we need to look at the other Greek idea
of Kratos meaning people‟s rule.

Abstract:
Drama is the specific mode of fiction represented in performance. The enactment of
drama in theatre, performed by actors on a stage before an audience, presupposes collaborative
modes of production and a collective form of reception. Tragedy is the major form of drama
besides comedy. A tragic plot is more linear than a comic plot. Tragic heroes and heroines in

Health Awareness Among Tribes of Rural India
Dr. Indu Kumari
Abstract:
The tribes in India are spread over the length and breadth of the country. The tribal populations
are recognised as socially and economically vulnerable. Their lifestyles and food habits are
different from that of their rural neighbours. They depend on minor forest produce and manual
labour for livelihood. They may not have adequate income. Their food consumption pattern is
dependent on the vagaries of nature and varies from extreme deprivation (in the lean seasons) to
high intakes (in the post-harvest period). About 21% of them are scheduled castes and 24% are
tribes. Purulia suffers from very poor conditions in terms of hygiene, poverty, and lack of safe
drinking water, resulting in major health problems such as diarrhoea, malaria, filarial, TB,
anaemia, and others. Poor child birth and nutrition standards lead to high IMR and MMR.
Maternal malnutrition which was quite common among the tribal women was also a serious
health problem especially for those having numerous pregnancies too closely spaced and
reflected the complex socio-economic factors that affected their overall condition.

RELIGIOSITY AND PERSONALITY CORRELATES OF ALTRUISM
Dr. Arun Kumar
Abstract:
The term altruism is of recent origin. However, attempts to explain to which the
term applies are ancient. August Comte, a French philosopher and sociologist, first introduced
this term (Encyclopedia of Britannica, 1967; Vol. 8). Probably, he came to adapt the term from
the Italian 'altrui' . For him, altruism was an unselfish regard for the welfare of others. The other
conception in this regard is the term altruism comes from the world "alter", meaning "other" and
generally connotes an orientation toward other rather than toward self. Altruism refers to acts
that bring benefits to other people .

GEOMETRICAL KNOWLEDGE IN INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION
DR. NISHANT KUMAR
Abstract:
We have looked into trace of Geometrical knowledge in Indus Valley Civilization (3500-3000
B.C.) as well as in Vedas and other ancient Hindu Epics thousands of years before Christ. We
first discuss the trace of geometrical knowledge in the Indus Valley Civilization. From the
archaeological excavations of the cities, Mohenjo-daro and Harappa in Indus Valley
Civilization, we find traces of well planned drainage system, road crossing at right angles and
big buildings built of burnt bricks. The zoning of the city in bazaars, temple area, houses of the
rich and of the menials etc. indicate planning, pre thinking on the part of the city-fathers. We
also find the geometrical knowledge preserved in Seals and Plates obtained from excavations.
From the figures on seals we can infer that the people of Indus Valley Civilization were well
acquainted with rectilinear figures and circles. They also knew the methods to how draw them.
These seals are perfect squares or rectangles. The people of Indus Valley also have the
knowledge of the relation between volume, weight and density of the material. All the above
discussed achievements of the Indus Valley people lead us to conclude that the knowledge of
geometry and mensuration must had been in state of developed stage at the time of Indus Valley
Civilization in the vicinity of 3500 B.C.
