Formulation ofSolutions of a Special Class of Standard Bi-quadratic Congruence of
Composite Modulus-an Integer- Multiple of Power of an Odd Prime.
Prof. B M Roy
Abstract:
In this paper, solutions of a special class of standard bi-quadratic congruence of composite
modulus-an integer multiple of power of an odd prime- is formulated. The formula established is
tested and verified true by citing numerical examples. The merit of the paper is the establishment of
the formula. One need not use the preferred Chinese Remainder Theorem- a time consuming
method

RADIOTHERAPY TREATMENT PLANNING WITH DOSE VOLUME
CONSTRAINTS BY LINEAR PROGRAMMING APPROACH
Dr NVSL Narasimham
Abstract:
Optimization has become an imperative tool in treatment
scheduling for cancer radiation therapy. It may be used to determine beam
weights, beam directions, and appropriate use of beam modifiers such as
wedges and blocks, with the aim of delivering a required dose to the tumor
while sparing critical structures and normal tissue in close proximity. Linear
programming formulations are a core computation in many approaches to
treatment planning, because of the abundance of highly developed linear
programming software. Furthermore the choice of formulation, algorithm, and
pivot rule that perform paramount computations are sometimes not obvious,
and the software’s default choices are sometimes pitiable. Here a number of
linear programming formulations of treatment planning problem with dose
volume constraints, conclusions are drawn about the formulations and variants.

EFFECTS OF COMPONENT TASK ANALYSIS TEACHING
STRATEGY ON SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’
PERFORMANCE IN PHYSICS FOR ATTAINING SUSTAINABLE
GOALS IN DISORIENTED SOCIETY
AWODUN, ADEBISI
Abstract:
The study investigated the effects of Component task analysis teaching strategy on
secondary school students’ academic performance in Physics in Ekiti State, Nigeria for
attaining sustainable goals in disoriented society. The research design adopted in the study
was Pretest-Posttest Quasi- experimental. The sample for the study was 120 Senior
Secondary One (SSI) Physics students, selected through the multistage sampling technique
from a total population of 6,589 SS I students offering Physics in all the 184 public Senior
Secondary Schools in Ekiti State. The instrument used to collect relevant data from the
subjects was Physics Achievement Test (PAT). The reliability of the instrument was
determined through the split-half method with the reliability coefficient of 0.86. Three null
hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The data collected were analysed
using t-test and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) statistical analysis. The results of the
analyses showed that there was significant difference in the academic performance of
students in Physics in the experimental and control groups in favour of experimental group.
Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that Component task analysis teaching
strategy is more potent in boosting students’ performance in Physics in secondary schools
than the conventional method in vogue in the nation and It was recommended that the
conventional method presently in use by Physics teachers should either be improved upon,
modified or replaced with an activity- based teaching approach (as appropriate).

VARIETIES OF DETOUR DOMINATION NUMBER OF
GRAPHS
K. PALANI
Abstract:
Let 𝐺 = (𝑉, 𝐸) be a graph. A u- 𝑣 a detour is a longest 𝑢- 𝑣 path. A subset D⊆V is
called a detour set of G if every vertex in V-D lie in a detour joining the vertices of D. A
subset D⊆V which is both a detour set and dominating set is called a detour dominating
set of G and the cardinality of a minimum detour dominating set is called the detour
domination number of G. In this paper, we introduce the concept of different detour
domination numbers and find the same for some simple and special graphs

On some power joined 𝚪-semigroups
Abul Basar
Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce commutative, archimedean, nonpotent Γ-semigroup, Putcha Γ-semigroup
and 𝐸-𝑚 Γ-semigroup. We prove that a finitely generated, commutative, nonpotent, archimedian Γ-semigroup is power
joined. We also prove that if 𝑆 is a commutative, nonpotent, archimedian Γ-semigroup, then, 𝑆 is power joined if and
only if every finitely generalized sub-Γ-semigroup 𝐻 of 𝑆 is archimedian. Thereafer, we obtain some equivalent
conditions. Then, we prove that an archimedian nonpotent Γ-semigroup is power joined if and only if the structure Γ-group 𝐺𝑠 = 𝑆/𝜌 of 𝑆 is periodic for some 𝑠 ∈ 𝑆; equivalently, it is true for all 𝑠 ∈ 𝑆. We also show that every medial Γ-semigroup 𝑆 is a left and right Putcha Γ-semigroup and that every 𝐸-𝑚 Γ-semigroup is a right and left Putcha Γ-semigroup.

EFFECTS OF STRUCTURED-INQUIRY TEACHING METHOD ON
SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN BASIC
SCIENCE FOR ATTAINING SUSTAINABLE GOALS IN DISORIENTED
SOCIETY
OYENIYI, AJOKE D.
Abstract:
Knowledge in Basic Science is central and indispensable to the development of every
nation. The study investigated the effects of structured-inquiry teaching method on
students’ academic performance in Basic science in Public Secondary Schools in Ekiti
State, Nigeria. The research design adopted in the study was a Pretest-Posttest Quasi-experimental. The sample for the study comprised 140 Junior Secondary School two (JSS2)
Basic Science students selected through the multistage sampling technique from a total
population of 7,014 JSS2 Basic Science students in all the 184 Public Secondary Schools
in Ekiti State. The instrument used to collect relevant data from the subjects was Basic
Science Performance Test (BSPT). The reliability of the instrument was determined
through the split-half method with the reliability coefficient of 0.91. Two null hypotheses
were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The data collected were analyzed using t-test
statistical analysis. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant
difference in the academic performance of students in Basic Science in the experimental
and control groups in favour of the experimental group. Based on the findings of the study,
it was concluded that structured-inquiry teaching method is more effective in improving
students’ performance in Basic Science in Secondary Schools than the conventional
method which is still widely in use and it was recommended that the conventional method
presently in use by Basic Science teachers should either be improved on, modified or
replaced with an activity-based teaching approach (as may be appropriate).

EDUCATION AS A TOOL FOR ERADICATING CHILD TRAFFICKING IN THE
21ST CENTURY
BORIS O.O
Abstract:
This paper looked into education as a tool for eradicating child trafficking in the 21st
century. It present child trafficking as a concern in Nigeria presently and as a major
violation of children’s right and an exploitative way of child labour. It also itemized some
certain percentages of Nigerian in sex trade in some nations of the world. e.g Europe, Asia
and some common routes by which they were taken, stopover locations with means of
transportation were also discussed. The mode of operating child trafficking agencies were
also unrevealed, which types of trafficking were highlighted to be internal and external
with its causes and effects.Education being an acquisition of knowledge was seen
particular ill of the society since education caters for the needs of the society and also
forms the bedrock for any national development

MAINTAINING FINANCIAL DATA QUALITY FOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
NAVEEN KUNNATHUVALAPPIL HARIHARAN
Sr. Hyperion SME
Abstract:
Only when the input data is reliable can mathematical
models and business intelligence systems for decision-making produce accurate and effective outputs. However,
data taken from primary sources and gathered in a data
mart may contain several anomalies that analysts must
identify and correct. This research covers the activities
involved in creating a high-quality dataset for business
intelligence and data mining. Three techniques are
addressed to achieve this goal: data validation, which
detects and reduce anomalies and inconsistencies; data
modification, which enhances the precision and robustness
of learning algorithms; and data reduction, which
produces a set of data with fewer characteristics and
records but is just as insightful as the original dataset
