The Role of Data Science on Performance Excellence
Fola Michael Ayokanmbi
Abstract:
The arrival of the fourth industrial revolution, characterized by the
integration of computational applications with physical devices, is unlike any
of the earlier industrial revolutions because of its impact on all disciplines,
economies, and industries. The disruptive elements of the fourth industrial
revolution include the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence,
quantum computing, and cloud computing. The development of cloud
computing and the Internet of Things has contributed to the increase
in the amount and availability of data generated through digital
devices, such as mobile phones, desktop and laptop computers, and
wearable devices. The application of these technologies plays a critical role
in developing a fact-based and data-driven culture to achieve performance
excellence. This paper discusses the key technologies of the Fourth
Industrial Revolution, with an emphasis on the role of big data and advanced
analytical techniques for decision-making, performance improvement, and
competitive advantage. The ability to leverage big data analytics capabilities
with organizational resources and capabilities will ensure the achievement of
performance excellence. An effective technique for processing big data can
provide value and knowledge for decision-making, performance
improvement, and competitive advantage for an organization

BRAIN TUMOR SEGMENTATION AND CLASSIFICATION USING KFCM AND
CONVOLUTION NEURAL NETWORKS
DHANANJAY KUMAR
Abstract:
The unlimited and uncontrollable growth of cells can cause human brain
tumors. Correct treatment and early diagnosis of brain tumors are essential to avoid
permanent damage to the brain. In medical image diagnosis, tumor segmentation and
classification schemes are used to identify tumor and non-tumor cells in the brain. The
automatic classification is a challenging task which utilizes the traditional methods due to its
more execution time and ineffective decision making. To overcome this problem, this
research proposes an automatic tumor classification method named as Hybrid Kernel based
Fuzzy C-Means clustering - Convolution Neural Network (Hybrid KFCM-CNN) method.
The algorithm identifies the position of tumor in brain MRI as they are mostly preferred for
tumor diagnosis in clinic. The proposed method also crops tumor region from segmented
image and way growth of tumor and help in treatment planning. It also provides important
information about location, dimension and shape of brain tumor region with no exposing the
enduring to a high ionization radiation. The size of tumor is calculated in term of number of
pixels. Similarly the primary brain tumor is considered into Benign and malignant type on
MRI brain images, based on accuracy, sensitivity, specificity in MATLAB simulation

PHOTO REDUCTION OF EOSINUSING BENZOPHENONE
Dr. Bindu Kataria
Abstract:
In the presence of benzophenon the reaction of eosin Photoreduction parameters were
observedspectrophotometrically i.e the effects of pH, dye concentration , benzophenone
concentration etc, observations on this reaction indicated that dye photoreduction is apseudo-first order kinetics. An approximate mechanism forphotoreduction of eosin has been
presented in this paper.

CONCERNS AND CONSEQUENCES OF GLOBAL WARMING IN 21st CENTURY
Balinder Singh
Abstract:
Global warming is a continuing environmental threat to humanity. Global
warming poses a challenge in the 21st century. The consequences of global warming are
very drastic and multi-faceted. There is no denying the fact that India is projected to leave
the equivalent of 34 million jobs by 2030 as a result of global warming. The rapid melting
of glaciers has created a major concern for developing countries. The global Scientists say
that the main role of green house gases is behind this Global warming threat. These gases
are also known as Chloro-fluoro-carbon. These have carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous
oxide and vapor. Global consensus is needed to prevent the ill-effects of global warming.
In reality, the upshot of Global warming on human body is so ruthless that it should be
measured the key warning of the 21st century. In this article on global warming, we will
look at the causes and solutions of global warming. This study seeks to address the
concerns and consequences of global warming.

OPTICAL ABSORBANCE STUDIES OF TRANSITION METAL OXIDES
CONTAINING LITHIUM BOROSILICATE GLASSES
Thomas Philip
Abstract:
The glass samples represented by general formula 30LiO2: (70-X)
(6/7B2O3:1/7SiO2): XTMO (X=0, 0.05, 0.1) were synthesized by
conventional quenching technique. The TMOs i.e., Cr2O3, MnO2,
Fe2O3 and Co3O4 were added at the cost of both formers. The study
of optical absorbance of the glasses has been carried out. The UV-Visible absorbance of spectra has been studied by using the Fiber
optic spectrometer. The observed absorbance bands are typical of the
transition metal added to the glass. The optical absorbance results
indicate that the glasses containing chromium, manganese and cobalt
have a good potential to be developed as optical filters for specific
wavelengths in the visible range.
