Abstract:
This study examines the level of job satisfaction among single working women in Pollachi Taluk, focusing on widowed, divorced, and separated women. The research aims to analyze their socio-economic profile and identify key factors influencing job satisfaction. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 105 respondents using purposive sampling. Analytical tools such as simple percentage analysis and weighted average ranking were employed. The findings reveal that job satisfaction is significantly influenced by factors such as workplace safety, job security, compensation, and skill development opportunities.

Abstract:
The Pradhan Mantri Jan Suraksha Schemes were introduced by the Government of India to promote financial security among economically weaker sections through affordable insurance and pension benefits. This study focuses on evaluating the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries towards these schemes in Pollachi Taluk, along with their awareness and participation. The study is based on primary data collected from 411 respondents using a structured questionnaire, supported by secondary data from relevant sources.

Rohtak has been emerging as a rapidly developing urban area in the state of Haryana owing to its closeness to the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi along with socio-economic development. This paper analyzes the transformation of LULC in Rohtak City over 24 years from 2000 to 2024 along with their effects on LST and UHI formation.
