An introduction to Mobile Assisted Language Learning. Javad Gholami and Ghader Azarmi
Abstract:
Mobile learning suggests and supports the new concepts of learning such as ubiquitous-, augmented-, personalized-, online-, mixed reality-, context-sensitive-, informal-, and ambient learning and teaching. This paper aims to introduce Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) and its potentials in language learning and teaching. MALL is a merging language teaching methodology which can effectively integrate listening, reading and speaking activities. It can also develop academic study, critical thinking and research skills. MALL is ideal for language learners who travel or commute very often and for those who want to have fun by learning English.

Office Romance: Legal Challenges and Strategic Implications.
Frank J. Cavico, Marissa Samuel And Bahaudin G. Mujtaba
Abstract:
Office romance is a reality of the modern workplace as more and more employees meet their best friends and life-partners through their professional connections. Over 40% of today's employees have had personal and romantic relationship with their co-workers and 30% of the marriages were initiated at the workplace. Fewer workers now keep their office relationships a secret. As such, the workplace is a "hotbed" for romance since more people spend more of their time at work these days. As such, there is a need for clear policies and rules regarding personal relationships with colleagues and managers.

Texture Analysis of Histopathological Images to Identify Anomalous Region. K.Pratheesh Kannan and A.Ananthakumari
Abstract:
The pathological image segmentation is important in cancer diagnosis and grading. In human body, tissues are characterized with the organization of their components. Cancer causes the changes in these organization. In order to diagnose the cancer disease, pathologist visually examine the changes in the tissue. This examination mainly relies on the visual interpretation. It may lead to considerable amount of observer variability. Hence, they may or may not identify the abnormal tissue. To avoid this problem robust algorithms are introduced for segmentation.

Discovery Of Aliases Name From The Web. N.Thilagavathy, T.Balakumaran, P.Ragu and R.Ranjith kumar
Abstract:
An individual is typically referred by numerous name aliases on the web. Accurate identification of aliases of a given person name is useful in various web related tasks such as information retrieval, sentiment analysis, personal name disambiguation, and relation extraction. We propose a method to extract aliases of a given personal name from the web. Given a personal name, the proposed method first extracts a set of candidate aliases. Second, we rank the extracted candidates according to the likelihood of a candidate being a correct alias of the given name. We propose a novel, automatically extracted lexical pattern-based approach to efficiently extract a large set of candidate aliases from snippets retrieved from a web search engine.

An Adaptive Classification approach to filter spam E-mail using Vector Space Model. Nakul Dave, Uttam Chauhan and Avani Dave
Abstract:
The majority of previous studies of data mining have been concentrate on structured data, such as relational, transactional and data warehouse data. But, in actuality, an important section of the available information is stored in text databases, which consist of large collections of web documents from various sources, such as news articles, research papers, e-books, digital libraries, e-mails, and Web pages. Moreover, It is in increasing phase and in magnitude of terabytes of size. Among the ample of provisions of internet, e-mail facility is very useful and broadly used. Spam email is the strongly attached issue with email provision. Among various approaches developed to stop spam emails, filtering is an important and popular one.

Abstract:
In Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, 6 Nos. continuous casting machines (CCM) are installed in Continuous Casting Complex. Each CCM is 12m radius and mould size is 320mmx250mm cross-section. Bloom withdrawal stands are used in continuous casting machines to withdraw and to support the bloom, as the bloom gets solidified from liquid state. Each stand consists of one bottom and one top roller. These bloom withdrawal stands work in a very high temperature zone and corrosion environment.

Static and Dynamic analysis of rectangular isotropic plate using multiquadric radial basis function. R.K. Misra
Abstract:
This paper presents a methodology based on the collocation multiquadric radial basis functions to analyze the static and dynamic behavior of isotropic rectangular plates. The inertia and dissipative terms are evaluated by employing Newmark implicit time marching scheme. The spatial discretization of the differential equations generates greater number of algebraic equations than the unknown coefficients. The multiple linear regression analysis, based on the least square error norm, is employed to obtain the coefficients.

IPv4 is a foundation of Internet communication. Designed many years ago the protocol is inadequate in modern networks. New sixth ersion is replacing the older one. It is often repeated that IPv6 was designated to solve some security problems. This statement is true only to some extent. IPv6 deployment for the future infrastructure IPv6DFI (especially in the transition phase) will have large impact, not always positive on many aspects of Internet services: network performance, data security, economy.

Performance and Emission of a Single Cylinder Stationary Diesel Engine with Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Prof: G S Hebbar and Dr. Anant Krishna Bhat
Abstract:
In today's modern world the internal combustion engine has a predominant role in stationary low power generation and a virtual monopoly in mobile applications. Concentrations emitted from the internal combustion engines thus build up to levels sufficient to have adverse effects on plants and animals. From the literature we find that any technique employed to mitigate emissions has adverse effect on the performance. EGR is considered as a most efficient method to reduce the NOx exhausted.

Vertex Coloring Of A Fuzzy Graph Using Alpa Cut. Arindam Dey and Anita Pal
Abstract:
Let G= (VF,EF) be a simple connected undirected fuzzy graph where VF is a fuzzy set of vertices where each vertices has membership value u and EF is a fuzzy set of edges where each edge has a membership value s. Vertex coloring is a function which assigns colors to the vertices so that adjacent vertices receive different colors. In this paper, we introduce a coloring function of fuzzy graph (crisp mode) to color all the vertices of graph of G and find the chromatic number of graph G which is a fuzzy number.

Abstract:
In this paper internal model control and fuzzy self-tuning PID controller is combined into a whole controller which make up a new controller fuzzy self-tuning PID internal model controller. First the internal model control system can be changed into conventional PID unity feedback control system through introducing pade series to approximate the time delay unit. Then using fuzzy inference to tune the PID parameters online, the fuzzy self tuning PID internal model controller is realized. This controller combines the advantage of fuzzy control, internal model control and PID control.
