Traffic aware Multipath Communication for Time-Critical Applications in Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks. Ms. M.V.Priya and Ms. A.Anantha Kumari
Abstract:
In this project, we propose an energy efficient and collision aware (EECA) node-disjoint multipath routing algorithm with multipath power-control transmission (MPT) scheme for Acoustic sensor networks. With the aid of node position information, the EECA algorithm attempts to find two collision-free routes using constrained and power adjusted flooding and then transmits the data with minimum power needed through power control component of the protocol. And also, we propose a new multipath power-control transmission (MPT) scheme, which can guarantee certain end-to-end packet error rate while achieving a good balance between the overall energy ef?ciency and the end-to-end packet delay.

Multi-objective Optimization in Road Sensor and Actor Networks. W.Kala Belja and Miss.S.Sumitha
Abstract:
In Road Sensor and Actor Networks, a lot of sensors and actors are arbitrarily deployed on public roads to gather real-time data on traffic and road conditions and ease decision making based on data gathered. Some actors could be put to inactive state to save energy and extend network lifetime. In this paper, the theme of selecting a set of running actors for coordinating data transmission in a road sensor and actor network with least amount communication cost and data error reduction is studied. A modi?ed Non dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA) is proposed. It is used to ?nd which paths are minimizing cost and reducing data error. The usefulness of the proposed algorithms is con?rmed using extensive simulations.

Bit Searching Technique. N. Venkatesan and E. Ramaraj
Abstract:
Searching algorithms are closely related to the concept of dictionaries. String searching algorithms are too complex in all sorts of applications. To analyze an algorithm is to determine the amount of resources (such as time and storage) necessary to execute it. Most algorithms are designed to work with inputs of arbitrary length. Usually the efficiency or running time of an algorithm is stated as a function relating the input length to the number of steps (time complexity) or storage locations (space complexity).

An Efficient And Simple Technique Of Data Migration. Farid Ahmad, Alighazi Siddiqui and Mohammad Shabbir Alam
Abstract:
Every type of system may replace or enhance the functionality currently delivered by legacy systems to new system, regardless of the type of project/application; some data conversion may take place. Difficulties arise when we take the information currently maintained by the legacy system and transform it to fit into the new system. We refer to this process as data migration. Data migration is a common element among most system implementations. It can be performed once, as with a legacy system redesign, or may be an ongoing process as in storage of historical data in the form of a data warehouse. Some legacy system migrations require ongoing data conversion if the incoming data requires continuous cleansing.

Abstract:
OFDM can be seen as either a modulation technique or a multiplexing technique. One of the main reasons to use OFDM is to increase the robustness against frequency selective fading or narrowband interference. In a single carrier system, a single fade or interferer can cause the entire link to fail, but in a multicarrier system, only a small percentage of the subcarriers will be affected. Error correction coding can then be used to correct for the few erroneous subcarriers.

Generation of Intelligent Assessment Sheet with Compound Criteria in Adaptive Learning System. R. Kavitha, A. Vijaya and D. Saraswathi
Abstract:
The computer assisted testing has proven to be an efficient and effective way to evaluate students' learning status such that proper tutoring strategies can be adopted to improve their learning performance. In a testing system, the quality of the test items will considerably affect the accuracy of a test; therefore, several measures have been proposed to represent the quality of each test item, such as degree of difficulty and discrimination. However, the quality of a test not only depends on the quality of the item bank, but also relates to the way the assessment sheet is constructed. Selection of appropriate test items is important when constructing a assessment sheet that meets compound assessment requirements, such as expected difficulty degree, expected discrimination degree, number of the test items, and the specified distribution of concept weights.

A Complete Metrics Based View to Estimate Software Quality in Component based System. Vanish and Mr. Manmohan Sharma
Abstract:
Most of the applications in today's IT industry are developed with the help of existing codes, libraries, design, open source etc. As the code is accessed in a program it is represented as the software component. Code is a ready to use component in programming. Developing software with the help of existing component or code is called software reusability. These components can be code, architecture, documents, designs etc. While using these components the main question arises whether to use such components is worth full or not which means reusing these components increases or decreases the quality of the software. In this proposed work i have made an attempt to answer this question.

Abstract:
We all have experienced the discomfort of waiting in a queue. Unfortunately, this phenomenon is becoming increasingly common in urban societies with increasing population. One of the problems of ATM machines is the long queue in front of these machines which results in customer dissatisfaction. Therefore, banks should attempt to solve this huge problem, so that they could prevent distrust to electronic banking and its tools including ATMs. So, nonlinear queuing model was suggested by Passandideh and Niaki (2010) with two objectives of minimizing customer waiting time and percentage of idle time for ATM.
