Abstract:
The study is to examine the scope and dimension of income inequality and its effect on poverty problem in Nigeria. The issue of poverty is a very crucial one due to the prevailing increase in the incidence of poverty in Nigeria. Poverty brings about unemployment in the society which also leads to waste of human resources, in the sense that those people that would have been useful in contributing positively to the growth of the economy are there contributing negatively due to joblessness. This therefore leads to reduction in the level of productivity which consequently brings about a decline in GDP rate of Nigerian economy.

Abstract:
In recent times banking industry in Nigeria has undergone a full Business Process Re-engineering (BPR). There is a conspicuous change in mode of operations. Most basic business transactions are executed online. This study therefore endeavours to establish the level of efficiency and effectiveness of electronic banking in Nigeria. A survey was conducted with customers and staff of selected banks. The questionnaire provided a five level Likert scaling system which was used in analyzing the responses and tested using ordinary least square technique. The study revealed that the current banking operation in Nigeria is significantly adequate.

An Analysis of Marketed Surplus and Price Spread of Okra in Western Uttar Pradesh. Dr Gaurav Joshi
Abstract:
The study was undertaken to analyze marketed surplus and price spread for Okra in Western Uttar Pradesh. Cluster sampling techniques was used to select the sample villages and respondents. Primary data were collected by personal interview of respondents. Simple statistical tools were employed to accomplish different objectives of the study. The marketed surplus of the small category of farms have slightly higher surplus than large, marginal and medium categories of farms. Their relative proportion was 95.31 per cent, 94.88 per cent, 94.85 per cent and 92.76 per cent respectively of the total production.

Abstract:
The international research on call centre employment presents mainly negative view of the nature of this work. A more positive portrayal of call centre work has been demonstrated in some international research, highlighting the problem of generalizing across different contexts. Previous Indian research has also found variation in terms of employment outcomes, job satisfaction and career opportunities across various industries, type and size of call centre and different management approaches. This paper continues to explore the work experiences of call centre workers and is based on research conducted in Chennai based call centers. Insights from focus groups of trade union delegates informed the development of a survey which was circulated across 22 organization, drawing responses from 845 call centre workers.

Abstract:
In this paper an attempt has been made to analysis of income and human development index (HDI) on poverty ratio for 15 states of India and for some selected Asian Nation. Our hypothesis is that both HDI and the growth of per capita income to play a significant role in the perspective of reduction of poverty. Data pertaining to 15 major states of India has been considered to study the linkages between these three variables over time with the help of correlation and regression technique. The empirical analysis clearly revealed that per capita income and human development have profound influence on the reduction of poverty.

This paper tests the effect of the change in the dividends on stock price behavior. The sample population for this study comprises of four companies from different industries. These companies are Hub co, Lucky Cement, Honda Atlas and Nishat Mills. The research is conducted by gathering five year data (2004 to 2009) of related firms regarding their dividend payments and stock prices. The Time series graph and pivot graphs are plotted on data. The time series graph of stock prices of lucky Cement, Atlas Honda and Nishat Mills show variability of stock prices.

This paper presents a disseminated Enterprise Resource Planning System under innovative deployment considerations thereby investigating the data flow in an ERP environment.
