Abstract:
The study was designed to investigate the influence of Emotional Intelligence and creativity on the academic achievement of Business Education Students using Ex- post facto research design. A total of 235 students purposively selected from four College of Education participated in the study. Three research questions were raised and answered in the study. Three instruments: Student Cumulative, Grade Point (CGPA) Information Format (SCIF); Wong and law emotional intelligence scale (WLEIS) and Nicolas Holt Creativity Test (NHCT) were used for data collection.

Teacher must act as a leader because his/her role is very effective in educational change. Influence of personality traits on leadership styles has been a significant topic in management but no research emphasis has been given to teacher's personality influence on their leadership behaviors. This research investigates the correlation between these two aspects. Quantitative research is done by means of survey to a convenient sample of 150 teachers of public Secondary schools of Lahore.

Abstract:
In the present study, we have presented a statistical analysis for paired comparison data through Bayesian approach. In the method of paired comparisons, objects are presented in pairs to the judges. The Bradley-Terry model for paired comparisons is considered for Bayesian analysis. The prior distribution for the parameters of the model is supposed to be belonged to the member of the Dirichlet family and the method for elicitation of hyperparameters is based on the prior predictive distribution.

At times, costs cannot be traced to specific units without considerable difficulty or a clerical labour not justified by the result manufacturing overhead represents all costs incurred in the factory over and above direct material cost, and direct labour cost. In other words, it is the aggregate of factory indirect material cost, factory indirect labour cost factory indirect services. The items of overhead, which cannot be identified with specified departments, are prorated or distributed among the related departments and this proration of distribution is technically referred to as apportionment.

In the present study A Quasi Experimental Study a research design was used to achieve the objectives of the study. The study was conducted in selected slums of Pune city. In the present study the sample comprised of 60 people. A structured questionnaire knowledge regarding swine flu was prepared to study the sample. Descriptive and inferential statistics had been used to analyze the data obtained through interviews. This study indicates that the planned teaching is effective in increasing the knowledge of people regarding swine flu.

Abstract:
The Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 indicates that disabled persons should have access to education at all levels. Though service to disabled children in India is more than 100 years old, the coverage of these children in the formal school system is not even 5 per cent. The report of manpower development published by the Rehabilitation Council of India reveals that more than 1,00,000 teachers will be needed in the next ten years to cater to the educational needs of disabled children in schools. Bachelor's and master's level teacher programmes are needed for preparing teachers to help disabled children realise the objective of education for all.

For last few years every other day we read the news of farmers committing suicides. The number of farmers who have committed suicides since 1997 has crossed 1 lakhs. In this context the actual problems being faced are to be understood and analysed. Global Financial Crisis and Efficiency in Foreign Exchange Markets. Mohsen Mehrara and Ali Reza Oryoie
Abstract:
This article inspects the efficiency of the foreign exchange market after the global financial crisis of 2007-08. A BDS independence test was applied to the returns of weekly exchange rates of the Euro, the Australian Dollar, the Swiss Franc, the New Zealand Dollar, and the Singapore Dollar against the US Dollar, one time from 2002 to 2007, and the other time from 2007 to 2011. The results indicates that the exchange rates returns are independent and identically distributed (iid) before the crisis, but they are founded not to be iid after the crisis, that is, Efficient Markets Hypothesis cannot be rejected before the crisis, while it is rejected after the crisis.

The present study is undertaken to know the satisfaction levels of employees about labour welfare measures in KCP limited (Cement Division). For the purpose of the study, convenience random sampling method is adopted to carry out the study by the researcher. Out of 925 employees, 90 are selected covering almost all the departments. A questionnaire is used for present study to know the opinions of the employees on each statement. The results of the research reveal that majority of the employees are satisfied with all the welfare measures provided by the organization.

Fluoride and Nitrate level in groundwaters of some villages of Dudu tehseel, Jaipur district. Alka Kataria
Abstract:
Ground water quality was studied in some villages of Dudu tehseel of Jaipur district by systematic collection and analysis of samples. The samples were collected during the month of February, 2009 and were analyzed for pH, total dissolved solids, chloride, nitrate and fluoride. The analysis showed that three villages had high fluoride and nitrate level than the maximum permissible limits when compared with the prescribed Indian Standard Limits for drinking water. TDS, Chloride values were high in Gadoti region whereas found lowest in Kapadiawas region.

A study of the tea pest prevalence and plant protection measures adopted in some parts of Sonitpur district of Assam. Baruah, Parag Moni, Begum, Angur and Dutta, A.M.
Abstract:
The study was aimed at obtaining information pertaining to the tea pest prevalence in some tea gardens of Tezpur sub-division of Sonitpur district of Assam with reference to the plant protection measures adopted in those gardens. For this study, a sampling survey of ten tea gardens of the district was carried out. The study shows that altogether six types of pests are found to affect tea plantations and 22 types of pest control agents are used for controlling different types of tea pests. Organochloriones, Pyrethroids, fungicides and pesticides of other categories are used by 100% gardens with application percentages of 4.55, 13.6, 13.6 and 27.3 respectively.
