A Logistic Brownian Motion With A Price Of Dividend Yielding Asset. D. B. Oduor and Silas N. Onyango
Abstract:
In this paper, we have used the idea of Onyango (2003) he used to develop a logistic equation used in natural science to develop a logistic geometric Brownian motion with a price of dividend yielding asset since in reality, assets do pay dividends to shareholders at regular intervals after a maturity period which normally after one year. We have first derived a deterministic Walrasian price-adjustment model with price of dividend yielding asset after which we have introduced the stochastic effect of noise to derive a logistic geometric Brownian motion with a unique volatility function such that the observed option price is consistent with the price of the dividend yielding asset model.

Abstract:
The paper gives abroad overview of the poverty situation in Nigeria. Consequent upon this, the inauguration of the MDGs, which represents an attempt at combating poverty through global partnership for development, appears to constitute the key to Nigeria's escape from poverty trap. The paper examines evolving poverty profile and the challenges of actualizing the Millennium Development Goals in Nigeria. It is a shocking paradox that a significant proportion of Nigeria's population is poor despite its enormous wealth. The paper therefore critically examines the problems and prospects of achieving a remarkable reduction in Nigeria's poverty profile within the framework of the MDGs.

Investigating the Effect of Brand Awareness and Brand Image on Purchase Behavior of Customers. Aylar Zeynalzade
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to develop a comprehensive model that combines brand awareness and brand image perspectives on current and future purchases. These researchers used structural equation modeling to test the significance of the overall model and the specified paths. Findings indicate that current purchases are affected by directly by brand awareness and indirectly by brand image. In contrast, future purchases are not affected by either dimension of brand knowledge directly. The present study did not examine feedback effects and only included consumer categories, no individual differences variables. As such, these researchers recommend that future research examine feedback effects and include additional consumer categories, B2B categories and individual-differences variables such as variety seeking and innovativeness.

Analysis and Mapping of Flood Line in Godavari River Basin within the Nasik Municipal Corporation Area. Dr.Deepak N.Thakre
Abstract:
All through history it is evident that man has constructed his settlement along the streams, rivers or coasts. Stream or river water has been a source for consumption, agriculture or industry. Small settlements are converted into big cities as population is fast increasing and at the same time constructions are also increasing which has reduced the percentage of available land. This has increased the tendency of encroachment in river flood plain areas. Countries having high population density are more sensitive to floods because of lack of flood control, lack of emergency response infrastructure and early warning systems.

India in the Changing World: From Strategic Autonomy to Systemic Responsibility. Dr. Pankaj Dodh
Abstract:
The research is an attempt to analyse the emerging dynamism in Indian foreign policy perception in changing global economic and political landscape. The emergence of India as a stable and successful democracy, twisting just around double digit economic growth rate, a de facto nuclear power status, increased expertise in science and technology have all contributed to redefine the role, identity and interests of the Country in 21st century international affairs. The Indo-US nuclear deal and the voting in IAEA on the issue of Iran clearly demonstrate the fact that New Delhi desires high visibility in systemic regulation and transformation in contemporary world affairs. India, along with People Republic of China (PRC) could emerge as the real incubator to galvanize the world economy from the post global financial recession and ongoing Euro Zone crisis.

An Algorithm To Find Optimum Cost Time Trade Off Pairs In A Fractional Capacitated Transportation Problem With Restricted Flow. Kavita Gupta and S.R. Arora
Abstract:
This paper presents an algorithm to find optimum cost - time trade off pairs in a fractional capacitated transportation problem with bounds on total availabilities at sources and total destination requirements. The objective function is a ratio of two linear functions consisting of variable costs and profits respectively. Sometimes, situations arise where either reserve stocks have to be kept at the supply points say, for emergencies or there is a shortfall in the production level. In such situations, the total flow needs to be curtailed. In this paper, a special class of transportation problems is studied where in the total transportation flow is restricted to a known specified level.

A Study Of Association Between Fear Of Crime Of People At Bus Stops And Features Of Street Segments. G.Subbaiyan and P.Gopalakrishnan
Abstract:
Fear of crime is one of the prime concerns for people apart from traffic related safety and comfort while waiting at the bus stops. The major determinants of fear of crime include socio- demographic variables, direct and indirect victimisation, physical and social incivilities, and the physical environmental cues. The environmental cues that influence the fear of crime are created mainly by the planning, design and detailing of built environment and landscape features. In bus stop environments the features of the street segment in which the bus stop is located contribute to the environmental cues in addition to the features of the bus shelter and the surrounding built environment. The association between fear of crime of people at bus stops during night hours and features of street segments such as width of the road, street lighting, landscape elements such as trees and street hardware, on-street parking and pedestrian traffic were investigated in this study. Street characteristics of selected bus stops in Tiruchirappalli were recorded and the people waiting at the bus stops were interviewed to assess the fear of crime.
